Saucy's Story...
Hey there, I'm Saucy! I am a very sweet girl, and you wouldn't even recognize me from the shy little kitty that walked through the doors of Happily Ever After in 2008! I used to be very timid, but I have blossomed into a truly wonderfully social kitty with the time and dedication that the volunteers put into helping me trust people! I'm a wonderful cuddler, and would make a lovely addition into a quiet household with a new family that would like to cuddle with me day and night! If that sounds like a magnificent plan to you, then please stop by HEA's Green Bay Adoption Center to meet me soon! Purrs, Saucy

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Saucy, a Green Bay Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Green Bay, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Green Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Green Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Green Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Green Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
