Julius's Story...
Hello, Julius here. I arrived here at Happily Ever After in November, 2009, when I was about six months old, with my brother, Blanco. It was nice to have Blanco here because he looked out for me and took care of me. Blanco has found his forever home already, and now I'm ready to find mine! I'm the sweetest guy around, just ask the volunteers who work with us and they’ll tell you I am one of the first to greet them at the door and I jump up onto the shelves so it is easier for them to see me and to pet me! I loooove being petted! I just know there is the right forever home out there for me! Maybe you are the special someone who will love me and give me the home I would love to be in. Am I the purrfect guy for you? I’m hoping so, because I’ve waited a really long time. Won’t you take me home with you and love me? Yours truly, Julius

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Julius, a Green Bay Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Green Bay, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Green Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Green Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Green Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Green Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
