Batina's Story...
There are sooooo many wonderful things I want to see and do in this big wonderful world! I can barely sit still! I am just bursting with excitement and hope! Yeah, you could say I am pretty optimistic. I just don’t see any reason to focus on the negative when there is so much good to get out of it. Take this for example; a lovely little lady pup patiently waiting for a loving family to scoop her up and whisk her away to a happily ever after! Now consider that I am that little lady pup and would very much like to live happily ever after with you! I will need lots of time, love, training and patience; but I will give my all to make you happy! Plus since I have been here they already started showing me some things, like crate training, how to play nice with others- not only dogs, but kids and cats! So how about you and me start filling this half full cup up, with love! 7 months old-6lbs. My adoption fee is $220 and includes; spay, microchip, reduced cost training class, 1 month pet health insurance, free veterinary exam, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Batina, a Portland Rat Terrier/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in Portland, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
