Crouton's Story...
You know what are the best kinds of Croutons? The homemade ones, put a little time and effort in and oh my, are they good! Just think of the great sense of accomplishment you'll feel after you've baked this little Crouton in your love oven! Set the timer to forever and watch as the simple act of giving a puppy a new home, blossoms into a life time of love and happiness. My recipe may be a little more involved, since I will take a lot of time, training, and patience, but the final outcome could not be more splendid! You get the canine companion you've always wanted, because you raised me just right! And I get a forever loving family that will give me the life of my puppy dreams! I don’t think anything could be more delicious than that!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Crouton, a Portland Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Portland, or seeking a Boxer puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
