Darren's Story...
Hello. My name is Darren. Pleased to meet you. Sorry I am kind of new at this; I have never really been given a platform to speak my mind before. I don’t really know what to say… I am a little shy, well maybe reserved is a better word. With people at least, I get along well with other dogs and enjoy spending time out in the play yard with all my canine pals. I am learning crate training here and really like having my own place to hang out. I would love to have a forever family of my own, one that will love me and cherish me, show me what if feels like to be appreciated and involve me in their daily adventures. I think I could do really well in a home with bigger children, as long as they were respectful. If you wanted to come meet me and get to know me I think that would be cool. Thank you for taking the time to hear me out. I hope you have a pleasant day. 2 years old-63lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes; neuter, microchip, reduced cost training class, 1 month pet health insurance, free veterinary exam, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Darren, a Portland Plott Hound/Mastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Plott Hound/Mastiff for sale in Portland, or seeking a Plott Hound/Mastiff dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Plott Hound/Mastiff breeders who help with Plott Hound/Mastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
