Jessie's Story...
Hi- I'm kitten Jessie and I am full of love! I am 5 weeks old as of the 2nd week in May 2013. I will be spayed and vaccinated at the end of May and ready for adoption then (end of May/start of June)- but we are taking adoption app's now! I am as cute and can be and super lucky too-- I was saved from a high-kill shelter along with my siblings and mom, just in time! Now we are all ready to find loving, forever homes! (If you are interested in adopting me as a bonded pair, my mom's name is Jessica and my siblings are Mattie (gray girl) and Robbie & Pat (brothers)). I do well with other cats- I love to snuggle and also to play! I do well with dogs too. I am full of love and can't wait to meet you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jessie, a Xenia Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Xenia, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Xenia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Xenia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Xenia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Xenia paves the way for another one to be saved.
