MEET DIEGO. Diego just arrived Friday from DEATH CAMP DEVORE. He was saved at the last minute from euthanasia. Diego is a Pit Bull/ Dalmatian mix, just 11 months old and he is a real love. He was saved by Oregon Dachshund Rescue Inc volunteer Taylor. He is very obedient and loving just gives way to many kisses! He was just neutered and fully vetted a big lovable guy …… Adoption fee $295.00.
Based on 30 years of experience with rescue doxies, we have pretty strict criteria. Do you work from home/stay at home/work part time? Have a securely fenced yard? We do not place same sex in a home and children need to be 10 or older (some exceptions IF the dog is a puppy or the child has been raised with a doxie). We prefer no smokers and a home with no other small animals (ferrets, hamsters, etc) Cats are on a case by case basis depending on the dog. Remember these are rescues, many were surrendered because of these issues. All our dogs are fully vetted, including all shots, wormer & flea protection, nails trimmed, the works. They'll come with a basket of goodies, food, toys and a custom made harness. The adoption fees help cover the cost to rescue them, vet them and take care of them while in our rescue. It also helps towards the care of other doxies that come with huge vet or dental bills or need extensive behavioral training. Can you give him a happy, carefree life again?
