Rosie's Story...
FOSTER LOCATION: Twin Falls, ID

Rosie is a 7(ish) year old Lab/Heeler mix who found herself at a shelter when her human was unable to care for her any longer. Fuzzy Pawz volunteers took one look at this quiet girl and knew we couldn’t leave her there so we placed her into a foster home.

Rosie is a very sweet dog who is extremely well rounded. She gets along with everyone and we mean everyone! Cats – no problem, dogs – no problem, man-woman/old-young – no problem; Rosie loves them all! And everyone loves Rosie – the cat in her foster home normally has no use for dogs but she loves to lay with Rosie and take a nap

Our girl Rosie also has good house manners and is quiet and calm while inside; she is house trained, crate trained (but that is not necessary); she will sleep on the floor by your bed or in her own bed wherever you place it. She will lie on the bed or the couch if you allow her to.

This adorable girl also likes to take walks, go for rides in the car and to be brushed. She is about 10 pounds overweight which is putting some stress on her hips so loosing this weight is critical. A good diet dog food and daily walks will take care of this.

Rosie is the perfect family pet and would fit in with most anyone. Won't you see if she is the one for you?

Rosie is spayed and is up to date on her vaccinations. She will have a dental done the week of May 13th.

If you would like to meet Rosie to see if she would make a great addition to your family, please complete an adoption application at http://www.fuzzypawzrescue.com/adoptionapplication.htm

There is a $50 adoption fee, the adoption fee will help cover the cost of Rosie’s vaccinations and dental – the rescue will cover the balance of the vet bills.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosie, a Boise Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Boise, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Boise.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boise already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boise breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boise paves the way for another one to be saved.
