Pluto *VIDEO*'s Story...
I am a 1-year-old neutered male Dachshund mix. I weigh about 30 pounds. I am a super sweet, loveable guy with a heart of gold. I can be a little timid around new people, but I warm up quickly. Once I trust you, I am a total snuggle bug! My favorite spot to be is in someone's lap. If given the chance, I have no problem burying my nose into the crook of your neck just to show you how much I love you. I get along great with other dogs, too! I couldn't be cuter, with my long low body & stubby legs. If you're looking for a dog that loves to cuddle and cozy up to you, then I'm the right dog for you! Please contact CageFree and tell them that you want to meet me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pluto *VIDEO*, a Los Angeles Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
