Sadie's Story...
If you are looking for a super sweet, social, cuddlebug, Sadie is your gal. Her favorite thing is to play with her littermates and take naps in her foster parents’ laps. She also enjoys a good belly rub. Sadie is currently being crate trained and house trained. Still a puppy, she’ll need someone who can be helpful, supportive and patient with her while she learns how to be a “grown up” dog. She is great with other dogs and is not phased by cats. She is great around kids.

If you'd like to meet this dog, please fill out an adoption application at http://www.sarocks.org/adopt or visit us on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/sarocksorg.

The $85 adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, rabies tag, heartworm test, and 1st month's flea/tick & heartworm preventative.

Adopting an animal from a foster home gives you the best option of finding a pet that matches your lifestyle and home environment, because they are in foster, our foster homes are able to give you more information on their temperament and personality.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sadie, a San Antonio Anatolian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Anatolian Shepherd for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Anatolian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Anatolian Shepherd breeders who help with Anatolian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
