I am good with kids and good with dogs.

QUINCY's Story...
Quincy, 1 year old, 50 Lbs Heller/Pointer Mix Male.
Quincy is a very active, happy and loving big guy! He likes other dogs, but prefers females. Quincy loves people and walks good on the leash; he likes the outdoors very much, but doesn't like to be alone, he wants to be close to people or a female dog friend. Since he is active, he would need to go to a busy home or with someone that has time to take him for long walks, he would make an amazing jogging or hiking partner!, he would give you lots of love and kisses in exchange.
He is waiting patiently for his forever home and family!

If you are interested in adopting and think you can provide a great home for this pet , you may complete an online application so that we can better assess if this pet is a good match for you and your family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

QUINCY, a Long Beach Pointer/Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Cattle Dog for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Pointer/Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Cattle Dog breeders who help with Pointer/Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
