Ralph's Story...
Meet Ralph, he is one happy dog. He's a 2 year old Husky mix that will steal your heart. It's hard to believe that Ralph was found as a stray and brought to Friendship from another facility. Ralph is easy to handle and has liked all the people he has met. Unfortunately he has not been fond of some of the other dogs. He's not only great looking he's got an endearing personality. You must check out Ralph!

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ralph, a Elyria Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Elyria, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in Elyria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elyria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elyria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elyria paves the way for another one to be saved.
