My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sam is a happy-go-lucky 2 year young Italian Greyhound / Chihuahua mix. He has a stunning soft white coat, an adorable curly tail and he's all legs!

Sam is a very talented young fella and can dance and walk on his hind legs -- he could totally be a part of Cirque du Soleil! Sam is perfectly crate trained, walks well on a leash and gets along fine with other dogs, though he would also be great an an only dog.

Bit of background...
We do not know a ton about Samy's history, but we do know he was adopted as a wee pup from Lancaster County Shelter and brought back to the shelter as a young adult as his "owners" no longer wanted the responsibility of caring for a dog.

Sam went to Best Friends' NKLA event and was one of the very last dogs left at the event Sunday evening. We couldn't let Sam go back to the shelter so we took him into our rescue until he can find his Forever Family.
