Duke's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Duke's Story...
Duke is a 1 or 2 year old hound mix who loves to be in the company of people but does not demand constant attention from them. He gets along well with other dogs and is quite playful. He loves to roll in the grass and would love a little room to run. He also does well in groups of people and with kids. He is neutered and up to date on vaccinations and is housetrained.

Please note... we DO NOT test our dogs with cats. We have too many dogs in rescue to add a cat to the mix. If they come to us with a cat history, we will specifically describe it in the listing.

All of the dogs listed are located in or near Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Adoption fees are $195.00 (unless otherwise specified) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter of all adoptable pets as well as getting them up-to-date on their basic vaccinations and for starting heartworm preventatives. No rescue dog will leave our rescue without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so). IF listed as NEEDS A NEW HOME … Any re-homed pet MUST be spayed/neutered and up-to-date on shots upon going into new home. This will be worked out between original owner, our rescue, and the new owner. We will require an approved on-line application which is available on our website at vegasnewleashonlife.com . A basic home check and Meet & Greet will be done on or before adoption day to ensure that the pet can be safe in it’s new home and that everyone involved is comfortable with each other. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duke, a Gettysburg Hound (Unknown Type)/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Beagle for sale in Gettysburg, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Beagle dog from a breeder in Gettysburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gettysburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gettysburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Beagle breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gettysburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
