Queenie's Info...

I am good with kids and good with cats.

Queenie's Story...
Queenie, what a princess! She is a short-haired, fluffy bundle of cream fur. She's a sweetheart. Queenie is curious, but cautious. She enjoys playing with her litter mates, and enjoys her naps just as much. She'll make a fabulous apartment cat - she's well-behaved (for a kitten, that is). Queenie has spent her kittenhood around children, various adults, and is really good at socializing with all sorts of people - she's not skittish at all - she's more of a cool, laid back kitten. Queenie will need to be homed with her sister Santigold. These kittens will be ready to go to a forever home in a few weeks.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Queenie, a Brooklyn Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
