Fancy's Story...
Fancy is a wonderful cat who loves to plop in your lap and demand your attention. In fact, if you shoo her off your lap she comes right back. This kitty does not take no for an answer and implores you to keep petting her with her croaky meow. Fancy would do best in a home where she is the only pet as she gets defensive when other kitties invade her space. Foster mom has nicknamed Fancy Big Momma and Queen B Kitty. She is very loving and enjoys napping in her playhouse and curling up with her foster mom on the bed.

In addition to being spayed and up to date on all shots, Fancy is microchipped, has been tested for FeLV/FIV, wormed, treated for ear mites, and treated with flea meds.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fancy, a Muskegon Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Muskegon, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Muskegon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Muskegon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Muskegon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Muskegon paves the way for another one to be saved.
