Lovebug's Story...
Bet you can't guess how this handsome guy got his name! Maybe its because whenever you come within 5 feet of him he rolls around his cage and sticks his paws out begging for attention. Then when you oblige he rubs up against your hand and nudges you to encourage you to keep right on petting. He can't get enough! Lovebug knows he doesn't have a very "manly" name-but that's okay, he's cool with it. As a lover and not a fighter, he gets along with everyone-cats, dogs, and kids! Whoever takes this cat home is going to know how much Lovebug appreciates his chance at a new life.

In addition to being neutered and up to date on all shots, Lovebug is microchipped, has been tested for FeLV/FIV, wormed, checked for ear mites and treated with flea meds.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lovebug, a Muskegon Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Muskegon, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Muskegon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Muskegon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Muskegon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Muskegon paves the way for another one to be saved.
