Marnie's Story...
Marnie is a cute little kitty who likes to be spoiled with cuddles and treats. She loves being held but there is still a lot of kitten left in this itty bitty so she tends to get a little rambunctious at times. Marnie will let you know she wants to be pet by dropping down on the floor and rolling around or climbing right up in your lap and giving you her inquisitive "why aren't you petting me?" look. She gets along great with other cats and kids (she currently lives with 6 other kitties and an 8 yr old boy).

In addition to being spayed and up to date on all shots, Marnie is microchipped, has been tested for FeLV/FIV, wormed, checked for ear mites and treated with flea meds.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marnie, a Muskegon Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Muskegon, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Muskegon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Muskegon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Muskegon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Muskegon paves the way for another one to be saved.
