Peanut "I SMILE A LOT"'s Story...
A sweet eight year old boy was asked to give up his loving companion dog, Peanut, due to a changing situation at home. We promised him we would find little Peanut a loving, permanent home. Can you help?

Peanut is about 5 years old, healthy and cute as can be. She weighs about 11 pounds, gets along great with other dogs and likely with kids. She is housebroken, and cuddly. Loves to play and go for walks. Her favorite thing is getting her tummy rubbed while looking up at her human with a huge smile! She is not a barker. Peanut does well with both large and small dogs.

She is spayed, current on her shots and has been well taken care of by her little boy and his family. Meet this little girl and you will fall in love. Can you provide that loving home so we can tell her little friend the good news?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peanut "I SMILE A LOT", a Scottsdale Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
