  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less

Riley is a very sweet 5 yr. old purebred cocker spaniel. He loves all people, but would rather be the only dog in the house. He's neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Riley rides very well in the car, adores his squeeky toys, and is crate trained. He doesn't bark much, but will bark if he sees strangers through the fence. Riley is slightly over-weight, so he's on a diet right now. Activity level: moderate -- would love a nice daily walk and hikes on the weekends. Riley's adoption fee is $275

Our Adoption Process...

Anyone wanting to adopt one of our cocker spaniels, must fill out an application (available on our website at Applications are reviewed by our staff; applicants that qualify are then asked for what we call a "home visit". One of our volunteers meets with each applicant and their household members at their home for a short interview. Each applicant gets an opportunity to meet with the dog to see if they like each other. Information about each applicant is then reviewed and an applicant is chosen to adopt a dog. A couple of weeks after a dog is adopted, a volunteer with check with the adopter to see how everything is going and if there are any problems, concerns, questions, etc. We are always available to help however we can, after the adoption is made.
