Belle-super sweet's Story...
Hello! My name is Belle, and I'm a 2 year old bundle of love looking for a new family. My owners recently rescued me from the animal shelter, but can no longer keep me because of one of my human's allergies that were unknown prior to the adoption. Please help me find a loving home! I was recently spayed but other than that, I'm very healthy! I love being groomed and being scratched under my chin. I love small, enclosed spaces to nap in and soft, warm blankets!

I come with my litter box, some litter, a collar with a bell, toys (including my absolute favorites, a feather on a string as well as a mouse that hangs from a string that can be attached to a door, and my stuffed animal!), a scratch lounge, a temporary carrier, and some food that I absolutely love. My owners also have been using grooming wipes and a flea comb on me that I come with, as well as two months supply of Advantage (for fleas!). Though I'm sad I have to leave them, I'm excited to find a home where I can run around and chase after feathers and mice. Also, I looove naps and sitting on windowsills, enjoying a breeze. And I love a good game of hide-and-seek!

Please call or text my human at 213-761-5021, or email her at, if you'd like to adopt me! Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Belle-super sweet, a Los Angeles Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
