Tug's Story...
Tug is looking for a place to put up his feet and spend time giving love to his adoring new family!
Tug is 5 years young, he loves bathing in the sunshine, relaxing walks, and ear rubs! He was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism, the nice thing about this is although it is life long, it is a very easy medical condition to take care of. He loves kids, dogs, cats, and life in general. Very sweet personality and very eager to make your house feel like a home! Tug is the dog on the left in the picture. Please visit www.softplacetoland.org to fill out an application if you are interested in meeting Tug.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tug, a Ft. Collins Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Ft. Collins, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Ft. Collins.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ft. Collins already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ft. Collins breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ft. Collins paves the way for another one to be saved.
