Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hanson is one of those Cockers that is not only exceptionally cute but has the special Cocker lovability that we find irresistible! Hanson, at approximately 3.5 years old and 30 lbs, immediately makes it clear that his favorite moments are spent with his family...that can include adults and loving and gentle kids. Dogs are fine but not really necessary for Hanson to be happy...he will derive his happiness from time with his people. Since Hanson is at the prime of his life at about 3.5 years old, he's past any tendency to be destructive in the home yet has all the energy in the world for fun. That can include walking, hiking or a trip to the park for running and playing. Hanson is a very outgoing, sociable guy who would enjoy a day at the soccer field or shopping on Pearl Street. Hanson doesn't know any enemies - he's so easygoing. He makes you realize that no matter your background...in his case a high-kill shelter...you can always rally with a positive attitude. Hanson has that and more. He's just a joy! He also enjoys those loving moments for a cuddle and a snuggle...he never had much of that in his past. You can see the devotion in his eyes and his gratitude for the opportunity to begin a brand new life. Hanson is a very light shedder if kept bathed and periodically brushed...this keeps his gorgeous caramel coat shining and healthy.
Hanson is being fostered in Boulder, CO. He is currently available for a "meet & greet" with an interested adopter.
