found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Hailey is a 3 1/2 month old black Lab Mix. (We don't know what breeds exactly and we didn't see her parents.) She was rescued from a first nations reserve in the Yukon and has already made the trip to Vancouver. Currently she is fostered with other dogs and is a typical happy puppy. She loves to play then nap, eat then nap, and so on. She needs someone who will be home during the day to care for her & teach her everything she needs to know to become a well-behaved adult dog. (It's like bringing home a human baby!) Continuing her socialization with other dogs is very important too.
Hailey is 25 pounds now but growing quickly very day. Our best guess is she will grow to be a medium to large sized dog. She is a big cuddler and although she is getting too big to be a lap dog, she is none the wiser!
** Penny For Dogs receives many adoption applications for puppies. We always look for the best possible match for the dog and put the dog's needs before the adopter's preferences. If you apply for a certain dog but we feel a different applicant's home is best suited for that dog this doesn't mean you wouldn't provide a loving forever home for a rescued dog. We are happy to work with you to find a great dog that will better suit you and your situation. Our volunteers can still perform your home check and if approved you will be considered pre-approved and the next dog that that matches your situation can be placed with you immediately. **
** Spay surgery is mandatory before 6 months of age. It is included in the adoption donation and will be scheduled with our vet. **
