Happy Blue's Story...
Don't let Happy Blue's picture fool you - he may look serious but this boy is just a happy, playful dog who loves nothing more to cuddle! Happy Blue is 1-2 years old weighs 58lbs and appears to be a boxer/terrier mix. He was found as a stray and brought to the shelter by a nice stranger. He isn't letting shelter life get him down though - he's a lot of fun, very social and is quickly working his way into the hearts of the volunteers. He does the cutest little wiggle dance when you give him some attention. Happy Blue would make an awesome addition to any family. Please bring your whole family (including children and/or resident dogs) to meet him today!

Act quickly to adopt Happy Blue. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Happy Blue, a Philadelphia Boxer/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Philadelphia, or seeking a Boxer/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Philadelphia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Philadelphia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Philadelphia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Boxer/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Philadelphia paves the way for another one to be saved.
