PUPPY GIZZY's Story...
This shy little Beagle mix puppy is a charming little guy who is fluffy and soft and a true LOVER BOY! His mother is a purebred Beagle and she is a very pretty little thing. Gizzy and his mother and siblings were brought to a very high kill shelter in KY at the age of just 5 weeks old. CCR took them all in and now are promising each of them a great family that we will carefully select from qualified applicants. We are looking for a family who has children or are at least young at heart, to raise a puppy who will be great fun and full of outdoor adventure. That Beagle nose will carry him many places and will require that he has the good exercise routine that a Beagle needs. Gizzy is a good puppy who plays hard and then crashes hard. He is soft on his paws and kind of quiet most of the time, unless playing with his brother Bjorn. He is good with other dogs and children, and of course could live with a cat if introduce soon. He might grow to be 25-30 pounds as an adult. He will be short in stature but tall in character and love, as a family pet! ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Why Adoption is a Great Option

PUPPY GIZZY, a Salem Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Salem, or seeking a Beagle puppy from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
