My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jett is a 9-month old pure black lab puppy that weighs about 75 lbs. He is very loving and really likes giving kisses. He knows commands such as "sit", "shake", "stay", "leave it" (when he has something in his mouth he shouldn't have in there), "down" and he also knows what the words 'breakfast' and 'supper' mean! He is a great traveler and has taken multiple trips back and forth to Colorado and Kansas. He has been well socialized with kids, adults, other dogs and has had some exposure to cats. He is house trained and loves spending time outside. He is great at fetch but sometimes loses his concentration and will leave the ball/stick in the middle of the field and run back to me without bringing back the ball/stick. He is a great running partner and loves the exercise. I rescued him from a puppy farm and he was 3.4 lbs when I got him at 8 weeks. He has grown into a beautiful black lab and has a very sweet personality. He has had all of the necessary shots, vaccinations and has a Home Again microchip. He is not fixed yet as the vet told me that fixing large breed dogs too early can stunt their growth. I think at 75 lbs he is ready for that procedure! I rescued him and his brother Felix thinking that I would be able to give them a life long home with love and activity but my circumstances are preventing me from keeping them. I am hoping to find someone who is active that can give Jett the life and love he deserves!
