Bonnie's Story...

This happy little girl is Bonnie a Lhasa Apso/Schnauzer mix 3-5 years old we think. Bonnie came into the Twin Falls Shelter severely matted so she had to be shaved down to nothing but give it some time and she will be a long haired beauty once again.

Bonnie is the sweetest little girl who likes to spend her time around her people and is very in tune with what they want and are doing. She is afraid of her foster moms 3 year old grandson and does get scared every so often so she would do better in a calm quiet household with no little kids. She will run to you for guidance when she gets scared and will come in an instant if you whistle for her.

This cutie is good with other dogs, but no cats she figures all they are good for is lunch.

Bonnie is also very good in the house with great manners; she is house trained and crate trained. She is eager to please and is very smart.

Bonnie is spayed and vaccinated

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bonnie, a Boise Lhasa Apso/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso/Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Boise, or seeking a Lhasa Apso/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Boise.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boise already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boise breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso/Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Lhasa Apso/Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boise paves the way for another one to be saved.
