Taffy is approximately 8 years old and is a toy poodle. She is very sweet and affectionate, but needs some direction and leadership. Her previous owner (an elderly man who now lives in a nursing home) lived on a large property in Escondido. Taffy is used to the land and freedom; however, we have no doubt that she will adjust to any space (big or small) if given the right home and human. Because she is used to having free reign of her property, she is not completely housebroken and would need some training. She is obedient and submissive. She has never been around other dogs or children for any length of time, but we are sure she would adjust to either quite well. We would not recommend a home with a baby, simply because her temperament around babies is unknown, but she adores small children. She is an energetic dog and loves walks and toys. She is quite playful, but also enjoys being on someone's lap. She is responding very well to crate training right now! Please help this little girl find her fur-ever home. She is so full of life and we know she would bring a lot of happiness to someone.
