Sissy's Story...
We rescued Sissy & 3 of her siblings from a high kill shelter in NC. She is a 12 week old Jack Russell/Feist mix. She is a very sweet, & loving girl. Still working on the house training. She does have one bad eye due to some kind of puncture to it, With vet care we were able to get all the infection out & save the eye itself. It causes her no pain but you can tell that eye is not right & she is blind in that eye. She see's fine out of the other & has learned how to get around very well with that one eye.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sissy, a Indian Trail Jack Russell Terrier/Feist puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Feist for sale in Indian Trail, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Feist puppy from a breeder in Indian Trail.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indian Trail already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indian Trail breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Feist breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Feist rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indian Trail paves the way for another one to be saved.
