Kloe's Story...
Kloe is a 1 year old spayed female Jack Russell Terrier whose owner could no longer care for her. Kloe must go to a home without cats, and possibly should be the only dog. She has lived with smaller children with no issues and is house trained. She has gone through basic obedience training and knows her commands. She likes going for rides in the car with her people. UPDATE: Kloe is currently at an off site location and will be back at the shelter for the adoption shift on Saturday, May 25th.

If you want to apply for Kloe click here. You can then email the application to the Meridian Humane Society.Applications are now being accepted, and a visitation with the dog is encouraged. All applications will be considered and the adoption coordinator will call the person chosen to adopt the dog after the available date.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kloe, a Meridian Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Meridian, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Meridian.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Meridian already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Meridian breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Meridian paves the way for another one to be saved.
