Crissy's Story...
Crissy is a 2 yr old (1/26/14) English Jack Russell. She weighs 30#. She is energetic but not hyper. She loves to be with her human and focuses easily. She is very smart and easy to train. She is crate/leash and house trained. She likes to chase kitties and must be told not to do so. She is called off quickly and has never hurt any of them. She is alot of fun and would be great for a family with kids. She is heartworm negative.
Although Crissy is currently in Amite, Louisiana, transport to New England can easily be arranged through Animal Rescue Front.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Crissy, a Groton Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Groton, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Groton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groton paves the way for another one to be saved.
