Look who is looking for you!

Look at these girls! Colette and Isadora are retired breeder’s girl. 100% Frenchie, they are happy, cute and very people loving dogs. Just 4 years old, the girls are ready for life at home but not together. Colette is not good with other dogs. She wants to be an only dog and have a canine free world. She is wonderful with people… just no canine competition, please. Isadora is more social with other dogs and very social with people. The girls have been spayed, all vaccines current, they are ready to go home!

To adopt this dog, go to our website and click on the link to the application. Complete and send. For more information, call Deanna at 573-889-9691 or Cynthea 573-714-4232. You can email us at

Housetrained? If you have a fenced yard, then – yes. Plan to spend about a week crating your new girl helping her learn the routine in her new home. For your dog to be successful: use a crate, go out with your dog, praise “right action”, and expect more of yourself than you do of your dog. Housetraining tips are in your adoption packet.

We bring 65 dogs to the St. Louis area every Saturday. If you would like to meet this dog, just let us know. We are at PetSmart in O’Fallon on the 1st and 2nd Saturdays of each month and at PetSmart in Chesterfield on the 3rd and 4th Saturday. We are often at PetCo in St. Charles /St. Peters on Mid River Mall Drive on Saturday afternoon (1:00 -3:30).

Adoption Fees and Payment Plans: We take credit cards and checks. Payments can be arranged with a credit card. As with all of our adoptions, we know it is hard to get married on a blind date... even to a wonderful pup. We will take our dog back during the first month and refund your adoption fee less $75. To hold a pup, we ask for a $50 non-refundable deposit if delivery is not made during the same week.

About the breed: “The French Bulldog is a pleasant, easy care companion. Playful and affectionate dog, sweet and absolutely hilarious; they have a comical personality and love to clown around. Bright, easygoing, curious, and alert; Frenchie’s get along with strangers and other animals. They often bond strongly with one person. They play well with other dogs. They need companionship and will not thrive without it. They are fairly willful, but can be trained if the owner is patient. They respond to consistent training thatDOES NOT include hitting or harsh jerking. They are clean, companionable, and enthusiastic. They are not yappy and loud. This breed does best with older considerate children.
Frenchies are sensitive to temperature extremes. Overheating might cause heat stroke. They prefer cooler climates. Good for apartment life, they can be fairly active indoors and will do okay without a yard. This flat-nosed breed should not be exercised in hot weather. They love to run and can play for hours if you let them.”

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Colette French, a St. Louis French Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a French Bulldog for sale in St. Louis, or seeking a French Bulldog dog from a breeder in St. Louis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Louis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Louis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even French Bulldog breeders who help with French Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Louis paves the way for another one to be saved.
