Frosty and Blizzard's Story...
Ashley's babies, Frosty and Blizzard (black males) and Robin and Hunter (tabby,
female and male) were born March 26, 2013. They need to be at least 9 weeks
old before they can be spayed/neutered. That needs to happen before they
get adopted. So they should be ready by June 1st. Her kittens are very friendly and they love to play and wrestle with each other. The kittens are also doberman approved and get along with the Dober in their foster home.

If you are interested in the kittens, please email the rescue at swohdoberescue@aol.com or call Melissa at (502) 905-5512

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Frosty and Blizzard, a New Richmond Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in New Richmond, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in New Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
