Jerry - Pending's Story...
This is our handsome red boy Jerry, who is about 4 years old. Jerry came to us from a shelter in the south who had found him as a stray. He is severely under weight and heartworm positive. Despite all of these obstacles Jerry has a sweet lovable disposition. Jerry lives in a foster home with other dobies, males and females, and many cat friends. He so wants to run and play with them but because of his heartworm status he can't get too excited.

He has just started on his road to recovery and according to the vet it is
going to be a tough one for him. Jerry won't be ready for adoption until
his heartworm treatment is finished and that will be sometime in late July if all goes as planned. Jerry can use all the positive energy he can get, so please keep him in your thoughts. And the rescue can always use help in paying for his treatment. If you would like to make a donation to his care it is always very much appreciated.

ALL PROCEEDS FROM OUR UPCOMING YARD SALE IN LOUISVILLE KY WILL GO TOWARDS JERRY'S MEDICAL COSTS. PLEASE STOP BY THE YARD SALE IF YOU ARE IN THE AREA. IF YOU CANT MAKE THE YARD SALE BUT WOULD LIKE TO DONATE DIRECTLY TO HIS CAUSE, YOU CAN DO SO THROUGH OUR WEBSITE. THANK YOU.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jerry - Pending, a New Richmond Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in New Richmond, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in New Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
