Dewey's Story...
I am a male American Feist/Rat Terrier mix. I was born on May 31, 2012. I am neutered, heartworm negative, current on shots and micro-chipped.
My adoption is $200.

I was being given away on Craigslist because my owner could no longer care for me and 3 other dogs.

It is a requirement that I attend training classes at the Petsmart in Altamonte Springs. I am a sweet boy but I am a bit nervous. The classes will help me open up and become more confident in strange situations.

Please email for an application. A New Beginning Pet Rescue, Inc. only accepts cash. We do not have the ability to accept credit or debit cards and no longer accept checks. The pets are available to be seen at our adoption events on weekends at the Petsmart in Altamonte Springs on Saturday from 11-5 and Sunday from 12-5.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dewey, a Orlando Feist/Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Feist/Rat Terrier for sale in Orlando, or seeking a Feist/Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Orlando.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orlando already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orlando breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Feist/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Feist/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orlando paves the way for another one to be saved.
