Rocky's Story...
I am a male Papillon/Dachshund mix. I am about 2 years old. I am neutered, heartworm negative, current on shots, micro-chipped and on flea/heartworm prevention.

My adoption is $150.

I was rescued from Animal Services where I was given up by my owners who said they had too many dogs. Sadly, I was not getting adopted and my time was running out. It is great that A New Beginning rescued me so I would not have to be put to sleep!

I need a home without other small animals such as rabbits or hamsters. I am good with other dogs, but I can be pushy with other dogs.

Please email for an application. A New Beginning Pet Rescue, Inc. only accepts cash. We do not have the ability to accept credit or debit cards and no longer accept checks. The pets are available to be seen at our adoption events on weekends at the Petsmart in Altamonte Springs on Saturday from 11-5 and Sunday from 12-5.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a Orlando Papillon dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Papillon for sale in Orlando, or seeking a Papillon dog from a breeder in Orlando.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orlando already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orlando breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Papillon breeders who help with Papillon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orlando paves the way for another one to be saved.
