Snookie's Story...
I am a female Chihuahua/Affenpinscher/Maltese mix. My mother is Miley who is a Chihuahua/Affenpinscher mix and my father is a Maltese. I was born on 7/11/11. I am spayed, heartworm negative, current on shots, micro-chipped and on flea/heartworm prevention. My adoption is $200.

I was being given away on Craigslist because my owner could no longer care for me and three other dogs. I am a sweet girl but I am very nervous. Sometimes if I am really scared, I might scream and try to nip. Therefore, I should not be in a home with small children.

It is a requirement that I attend training classes at the Petsmart in Altamonte Springs. The classes will help me open up and become more confident in strange situations.

Please email for an application. A New Beginning Pet Rescue, Inc. only accepts cash. We do not have the ability to accept credit or debit cards and no longer accept checks. The pets are available to be seen at our adoption events on weekends at the Petsmart in Altamonte Springs on Saturday from 11-5 and Sunday from 12-5.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snookie, a Orlando Chihuahua/Affenpinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Affenpinscher for sale in Orlando, or seeking a Chihuahua/Affenpinscher dog from a breeder in Orlando.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orlando already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orlando breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Affenpinscher breeders who help with Chihuahua/Affenpinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orlando paves the way for another one to be saved.
