Rosie's Story...
Rosie is a 10 month pound bundle of sweetness that truly wants to sit on your lap after a nice daily playtime session. She is a hound mix and weighs 38 pounds - terrific size! Rosie has sparkling housemanners, knows some basic commands and is houseborken too! She is used to going into a crate when left alone and knows that routine. This little girl does have limited hearing in her left ear. She may would do best in a home that was accepting of that challenge she has and understands. Rosie has lots of love and affection to offer. She is good with playing with the other dogs in her foster home for the moment, but surely wants her forever family to come along soon. Don't miss out on Rosie, an application can be found at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosie, a Richmond Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
