Foxy's Story...
Foxy is a seven year old mixed breed lady. Foxy has always lived in a loving home and was only given up reluctantly because of a required change in living arrangements. She has not lived with children but she is eager to approach the children in her foster's neighborhood and enjoys being petted. She stands calmly and wags her tail. Foxy is low energy, and while she enjoys a walk, she doesn't require excess amounts of exercise. She'd be great for someone who loves dogs, yet still maintains a busy life. Foxy is a fun loving and devoted girl. She has lived with another dog in her home, and her foster has another dog. She has also lived with a cat. Foxy loved the cat so much that they slept together and Foxy spent hours licking the cat's ears. She is an absolute sweetheart! Are you ready to adopt? Why Adoption is a Great Option

Foxy, a Richmond Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
