Bear (& Jordan)'s Story...
COURTESY POST - CONTACT SSTRADE13@YAHOO.COM

Bear is an energetic and playful 4 year old pittie, staffie, or am bully mix. He is very sad right now because his human mama passed away in a motorcycle accident a couple of weeks ago. His human auntie is taking care of him and his sister, Jordan, but the house is too full and the situation is overwhelming so they all need some help.

We would love to give these two dogs a new home together but the new home part is most important and they will adjust over time with guidance and support in a new home. As you can see in the pics, Bear is a little overweight just now so an active home would be great so he can get back to a healthier, leaner condition.

Ideally, Bear would be in a home with another dog as he is used to having a four-legged, tail-wagging buddy by his side.

Bear is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations.

THE DOGS SHOWN ON THE SITE ARE IN FOSTERCARE - WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER TO VISIT. EMAIL is the best way to reach us.

We are a volunteer run, very small organization - so please be patient when waiting for a response, but feel free to check back in if you haven't heard from us in a day or so - thank you so much for considering a rescued pooch!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bear (& Jordan), a Sacramento American Bulldog/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a American Bulldog/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Bulldog/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
