Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We bailed Faith from the Lancaster Shelter. She was quite ill at the time with a very bad upper respiratory infection. Unfortunately, we were informed by the shelter that she had 5 kittens, all of whom must have died. After getting better from her upper respiratory infection and after adjusting to her new environment, she has done very well with her foster family. We estimate that she is about 3 years of age. Unfortunately she was tested and then re-tested positive for FIV. FIV is only contracted through sexual contact and biting. She would do well with other cats as long as the other cat(s) are not aggressive. She is currently being fostered with a multiple cat household as well as with 2 large dogs. We have recently been fostering 2 kittens (Mercy & Toby). She has taken the 2 kittens under her wing. She loves them very much and they adore her. She is so happy being their surrogate mother I am delighted that we have been able to provide her the opportunity to do so. It seems that now she is so very content, it is almost as though she has finally had closure, because now she is able to watch her surrogate babies, Mercy & Toby, play and flourish (unlike her own babies).
The perfect next step would be to find a wonderful forever home for this stunning, intelligent, sweet kitty. Better yet, how about adopting her with Mercy and/or Toby, a wonderful happy instant family of three?
