Roma (fully sponsored)'s Story...
We can not wait for you to meet Miss Roma! She has been lovingly called a domesticated rhino. Roma snores and snorts like a pig, is full of personality and loves to give kisses. This super sweet 8-year old pittie lets nothing get in her way, not even partial blindness (caused by severe dry eye). Roma requires daily eye drops and will need them for the remainder of her life. The eye drops are inexpensive but necessary to ensure her condition does not worsen.

Miss Roma is sweet, very loving, walks well on a leash, is crate and house trained, and has overcome her vision issues in almost every aspect. She's even tackled the stairs like a real champ! She needs a little time to acclimate to new people, places, animals, etc. due to her partial blindness but, with proper introductions, she is proven to be dog and kid-friendly and mostly indifferent to cats. Do you have room in your heart, and your home, for this Little Tomato?

**Miss Roma's adoption fee (usually $175) has been fully sponsored by a MPBF supporter, so her adoption will cost her forever family nothing but the promise of a lifetime of love! :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roma (fully sponsored), a Greensboro American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
