Cooper (fully sponsored)'s Info...
I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
**Cooper was the star student at his K9 nose works class!**
Cooper is a handsome boy with a big heart! He loves to play and gets along with his foster brothers and sister. His favorite activities? Playing with his flirt-pole, hiking with his back-pack, and playing tug-o-war! He is a moderate energy pup that knows the difference between indoor/outdoor behavior (How can we teach kids this?)! He was non-reactive to cats (curious, but not overly interested).
Cooper knows basic obedience commands and is happy to chill on the couch with you, or nap in his crate. He has NO obnoxious or destructive behaviors...no digging, chewing on things that aren't toys, and doesn't care to snoop through laundry or trash. He's not even bothered by loud noises (trains, motorcycles, machinery). He's partial to female dogs (typical!) and he's friendly with male dogs given proper introductions. He'll be happy in a home with or without canine siblings. Cooper has become one of our favorite success stories!
A note from Coop's foster-mom: "The past few nights I've been encouraging him to come sit on my lap on the couch. He's never wanted to do it before but Friday and Saturday nights he joined Flirty (Merit alum) on my lap. Last night, Flirty was in her bed and he got me all to himself. He rested his head on my lap and let out the biggest sigh I've ever heard. He was so sound asleep I had to shake him awake to put him to bed. He's such a great dog in so many ways."
Cooper is intelligent, loving, and simply wants a home with a family that loves him. And...his adoption fee (usually $175) has been FULLY sponsored by a MPBF supporter, so his adoption will cost his forever family nothing but the promise of a lifetime of love! :)
