Cricket 12 pound sweetie's Story...

Cricket is a playful puppy that is a little timid with new people but comes around quickly with gentle attention. She is learning to walk nicely on a leash and sit on command. She will need more socialization. She is crate trained and doing very will with house training and has not made any mistakes yet. She enjoys playing with other dogs and toys. She adores attention. She is quite in her crate at night and sleeps the whole night. Cricket is about 12 pounds right now and should not get too much larger. Date of Birth (guess) November or December 2012. She has been around cats but will bark at them, but is not aggressive. She should get used to them with more time.

She loves her daily walks but is not hyper and has about a medium energy level. Just a real sweetie!

Cricket is currently in Kentwood, Louisiana and being fostered by a family with other dogs and cats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cricket 12 pound sweetie, a Charlemont Border Collie/Feist puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Feist for sale in Charlemont, or seeking a Border Collie/Feist puppy from a breeder in Charlemont.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlemont already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlemont breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Feist breeders who help with Border Collie/Feist rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlemont paves the way for another one to be saved.
