Buster's Story...
Entered 5/17/2013

Brandy and Buster both 10 years old came to us from Nashville, TN by way of a pet transport . They are littermates. Spayed and neutered. No health issues at all. Lived inside the home till one year ago when they were banished to the indoor porch when their mom took ill. She recently passed away and her husband wants to sell the home and hit the road on his motorcycle. Sadly, Brandy and Buster need a new place to call home to live out their years. They are both SUPER sweet and submissive. They are good with kids and other dogs. They have not been cat tested but they are both slow moving sweet dogs, I would guess they would be fine with cats. Brandy has a little more pep in her step than her brother Buster. She is also very quiet and calm. Buster is much slower than Brandy and talks more. Both are very sweet dogs. They don't jump on you. Just flop over for belly rubs.

They would make an excellant companion for someone looking for a less active dog. If you would be interested in taking in a senior dog to love as they live out their years, then please come meet Buster or Brandy. For more information, contact us at 410-643-8700 or email us at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buster, a Chester Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Chester, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Chester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chester paves the way for another one to be saved.
