My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Lincoln and I am a fun loving little boy of just two years. Let me just answer the question you are asking - "Is he really that cute?” the answer is YES!! I am sweet and cuddly, albeit maybe a bit wiggly, but I love to be loved on. I am completely black and white, with not a speck of brown to be found. I have the big feet that I will grow into and long, long ears that get in my way. I am currently a little on the thin side, but am eating right and getting my vitamins so before long I will be thin no more. I am doggie door trained and absolutely love to ride in the car. I share my toys and share the food bowl without complaint. I get along great with other dogs and would really like a home that had another dog buddy for me to play with. I don't do much baking, but put me in a crate and I can bark my head off. I do not like crates and it will take some serious convincing before I will. I love to play with toys and might get myself in trouble if I don't have any. Even though I am a lad of just of two, do I have a story to tell...

I was found wondering the hot streets of Peoria when I stumbled into the Emergency Animal Clinic and was diagnosed with heat stroke, usually at this point in the story my foster mom says now I understand him - his brains were cooked - anyway, as I was saying I had heat stroke. The kind folks at the EAC fixed me up, but sadly no know came looking for me and I had to go the animal shelter. I spent about a week there waiting for my perfect family to come, but once again no one came looking. At this time, I thought all hope was lost, but alas I was wrong, in charged a volunteer from Arizona Basset Hound Rescue and yelled, "stop we will find him a the perfect forever home." Actually, she asked nicely, signed the paperwork and took me out of there to meet my foster mommy, but I like sound of the other better, more dramatic.
