Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Sophie and I am all black and tan German Shepherd of show line lineage. I am about 2 years old, spayed, HW negative and currently 65lbs--I could use a few more pounds. I was an owner surrender, but I don’t know much more. My foster dad thinks I am awesome, and recently I was evaluated by a 6-time World Seiger trainer who evaluated my temperament as “excellent.” I am good with small dogs, large dogs, and dogs that behave like idiots. However, if you start a fight, I will finish it. I also like to chase squirrels...I am great with all kinds of people. I know how to sit, stay, shake hands, but I can do much more! I love to play tug, and I have very good ball drive. My foster dad indulges my “emergency belly rubs” that I love to get when I lean into him. I have great eye contact and I am learning to “watch” before I am given the command to jump into the car. By the way, I love “rides!” I go everywhere with my foster dad and others in his pack. I would be best suited for a very active home that wants to involve me in their life. I would also be best placed in a home that understands the value and training that a crate brings. Even if you are not experienced, but have in interest in training me to my awesome potential, feel free to inquire--my foster dad can help with getting us started. I am currently in the Northern Virginia area. deepbluevideo@yahoo.com.
