Sundae - therapy dog's Story...
Sundae is good with dogs, cats, farm animals, children, is housebroken, and has been trained as a therapy dog.

Sundae is a 9 yr old Chihuahua mix. She is spayed, and is about 8 lbs. She is adaptable to any and all situations, and has a very sweet temperament. She has been trained as a therapy dog, and has worked as one for some time. She has no behavioral issues, and has passed the Canine Good Citizen Test. She enjoys hiking and camping, but would also be content relaxing inside with daily walks. She would be good in any household (active, elderly, family, etc). She is in excellent health, and can go up and down stairs.

She is very bonded with her sweet, adorable companion, Yeti.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sundae - therapy dog, a Denver Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Denver, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
