Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dixie is an adorable, loving, gentle and sweet, two-year-old, 35-pound, female English Red Tick Coonhound looking for a loving guardian. Dixie is living in a foster home where she has proven wonderful with people of all ages, and she loves playing other dogs. She will make a wonderful family pet. Dixie is full of kisses and tail wags for everyone she meets – although she has not yet been cat-tested. She has the most delightful disposition. Surprisingly for a hound, she is not too noisy. She would love a home with another dog to play with. She is good on leashed walks but doesn’t know any formal commands yet. She is food-motivated, so that will come in handy when trying to train her. She is crate-trained and housebroken; she’ll go to the door to let you know she needs to go outside. To meet and possibly adopt Dixie, please contact her foster mom Samantha at palsplace1@hotmail.com or 773-615-9864. Her adoption fee of $250 benefits the rescued dogs of Pal’s Place. She is healthy, spayed, de-wormed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested, and on monthly heartworm preventative.
